When appropriate, I like to provide students with the opportunity to be involved in activities or games that focus on helping them discover a new or unique way to recognize and understand mathematical concepts. When learning is enjoyable, students tend to connect with and have a stronger understanding of the content, so I try to make sure students have every opportunity to enjoy our math class.

I have a B.S. from Kennesaw State University, and and an M.Ed. from Brenaug University. I am certified to teach middle grades math, language arts, and reading—as well as gifted in all of these content areas. This is my third year at Taylor Road Middle School, and I have been teaching for nine years. Prior to teaching, I spent about fifteen years working as a receptionist/secretary, accounts payable clerk, and office manager.
